Princeton Speedway is proud to be one of the longest-running tracks in Minnesota, with roots that go back more than 135 years. Racing first began at the Mille Lacs County Fairgrounds in the late 1800s with horse racing before making the transition to automobile racing in 1956.
For the past 70 years, the tradition of motorsports has continued to thrive right here in Princeton, bringing generations of fans and drivers together for unforgettable nights at the track.
Join us during the 2026 season as we celebrate our 70th season of racing at the historic Princeton Speedway — featuring a full lineup of exciting events, family-friendly entertainment, and the thrilling action you’ve come to expect.
We race most Friday Nights from April through September, plus a Sprint Car Oktoberfest Themed Special on October 17th.
You can also find great family-friendly, affordable entertainment at our sister track on Saturday Nights only 30 minutes from here at Ogilvie Raceway. We also run HUGE specials at Ogilvie Raceway, including the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, World of Outlaws Late Models, a Mega Fireworks Show and great weekly racing featuring WISSOTA Late Models.
